Since being called to pastor the people of Gospel Light Baptist church, yesterday was the lowest attendance we have had on a Sunday morning. I was blessed though, for when I said good morning to God's people, the response I received led me to believe that there were far more people there than there really were. I got to thinking about that, and it made me realize two things. First, that the people who were there were there because they wanted to be. What a blessing it is to know that despite what we see around us in this world, that people still long to sing praises to God, and hear a message from His Word. Second though, it made me realize something very, very important, and this is what I believe many who pastor and attend smaller churches need to hear. The Gaithers say it much better than I could though, so click play, and remember that little is much when God is in it. Then praise God if you are part of a church (like I am) where He is in it.
